Reason For Everton vs West Ham Betting Tips

Everton sank to new depths last week as they were demolished at the hands of an Atalanta side who had failed to win away from home all season, before losing 4-1 to a Southampton side who previously struggled in front of goal. These 5-1 and 4-1 defeats respectively mark a new low point in their already tumultuous season, and they really need something to change in the near future.

The Toffees have now lost seven of their last nine in all competitions, conceding a huge 27 goals in the process and failing to keep a single clean sheet. Not only has this run put them out of the Europa League, but they are now just two points clear of the relegation zone and look one of the worst sides in the Premier League.

Things don’t even get better at Goodison Park. They have won four times there, but three of those came in the first two months of the season. More recently they have lost four of their last five, but in West Ham they have a real chance of getting back on track.

West Ham won’t see it that way however. The Hammers are also out of frame, with a 1-1 draw against Leicester on Friday making it four games without a win. Be that as it may, they will take a gander at this fixture as a way to secure a certainty boosting win, and right now they are unquestionably looking a superior team than Everton are.

Much like their adversaries, West Ham also battle at the back. They have kept only two clean sheets on the road all season, and one of those was against Cheltenham in the League Cup. Overall they have sent 17 goals in their nine aggressive away days, and wind up battling in the last three. A win on Wednesday would see them escape the drop zone however.

All signs point towards a fairly high scoring affair here. These two sides have the two most noticeably awful guarded records in the Premier League, and Everton have actually managed to score in all however two of their home games this season. West Ham, similarly, have just failed to locate the net in two of their last eight on the road, so we’re backing Both Teams to Score as our main expectation.

To be completely forthright, it’s hard to see Everton grabbing a point from anywhere right now. It’s astounding to see them such solid favorites for this one based on their current performances, so we’re also going for a West Ham win alongside a 3-2 adjust score expectations.

Everton have won two, drawn three, and lost one of their last six gatherings with West Ham, with the two teams scoring in four of them.
